It's a nice module, but there are few things I either don't know about or they're not there.

1. If I want to have a picture completely unrelated to an item published in this module, is it possible?
For example, if I want to place a writer's picture in this module.

2. Whether I display Title or Title/Text or whatever else in this module and click on it, Joomla doesn't seem to recognize something and the content is displayed all by itself. What I mean is, I have some other modules (menu for example) set up to display whenever the content from the category I publish in FlexContent is viewed. And it works perfectly from anywhere else but not when I click on it from within the FlexContent module. Why is that?

1.Were do I find custom image option? I looked everywhere and the only image option I saw is one that has to do with grabbing the last image from the item.

2. This is confusing to me too. I think it'll be easier to just show rather than explain.

There's one article on the page. (Intro text actually).
Click on Read More.. link below the article and you'll see the entire article as well as the menu on the left and FlexContent module on the right.

Now click on the article's title from the FlexContent module. No menu on the left, no FlexContent module on the right. As if it doesn't understand this (or any other) item is from a category that is linked to a menu item. In other words, it doesn't take on default menu item behavior when clicked from FlexContent module.

No, I was not using this. I was using 1.0 and this is 1.3.
Alright, I un-installed the old one and installed this one (1.3)
To my surprise, you took away very nice options I liked (custom output order). Why? Why don't you have Title Only option in the drop down list? There's no way to display Title Only??? That sucks.
The problem with Joomla not recognizing anything coming from the old module is gone now. Great.
I can add a custom picture to the item now and the text wraps around the picture. Great.

But man, that option where you can specify your own output rocked. It was one of the best options and you took it away. Any chance of putting it back in somehow?

I don't understand what you mean redefine. You are not from US I am sure.

Anyways I have added the option you wanted. I made a zip folder for you to try. I can not try install and check it. so if you don't mind I wills end it to you by email and let me know id it is ok and I will replace the zip in download section if it is installing and working fine.

Well, when I installed 1.0 and then you said I had the old version I had to re-install 1.0 losing everything I had defined before. And I had couple of dozen copies of FlexContent defined for different pages.
Then, when I installed 1.3, I had to re-define those I lost due to un-install all over again.

I don't want to go through this again.
I don't mind testing this for you, but can you just tell me what files I need to replace? I don't want to spend few hours again. Or tell me how to do it without un-installing the version I have (1.3).

Just unzip the folder and replace the teo files php and xml via ftp. You will add the option and won't lose any settings also.
