There's some difficulty in displaying the thumbnails in the vertical stripe. I've done the changes suggested to show the scrollbar (it works), but I've seen that not all of the thumbnails (30) are displayed. In some of them, only a tiny square is shown. Why's that?

Is it possible to display the thumbnail stripe horizontally as in the demo?
