I've seen similar posts on this forum with no response, I hope this one will be given attention. I've spent considerable time adjusting both the TinyMCE mambot and even some J core files (com_content) to reduce the width of the editor toolbar without success. I've also installed FCK Editor but that's not being recognized on the front end after clearing cache. The FCK install was done after JP Submissionary was installed.

It would be helpful to know if this component is compatible with other editors or if TinyMCE is hard wired into the code. If not, I'd really appreciate some guidance on how to clear the connection to TinyMCE or the best way to adjust the width of the editor on the front end.

I, too, would like some help with this. Many templates have fixed width content areas, and the TinyMCE editor doesn't fit the 530px or so width that seems to be standard. Changing the content width seems rather difficult, but so does hacking the width of jp Submissionary.

Any ideas, please?
