FeedMe looks really great...but I'm trying to come up with some sort of way of having a news area on the site that has latest news from RSS feeds (as FeedMe does) but also blends the ability for users to submit a quick link.

At the moment, if users have a quick news item they want to point out, the post it in my forum...but often that's all that happens. It would be great is users could submit a headline and link and not have to go to the trouble of writing a full story.

Is there any way that FeedMe + something else combined could achieve this?
