"Undefined Variable" 2007/02/26 22:18 Karma: 0
I have installed the ReflectionJP mambot, and am playing with it in a site i am working on.

The reflected image is appearing, however, i am receiving the following "notice" above the title of the content that I used the reflection in.
*************************************
Notice: Undefined variable: mosConfig_live_site in /usr/local/www/virtual/www.thenewintouchmi.com/public_html/mambots/content/reflectionjp.php on line 50
*************************************

Can you please advise?

Replace the mosConfig_live_site with absolute path or youe site. like in place of mosConfig_live_site if I wiere you I would use www.joomlaprodigy.com.

What you have in cofig file as live site, just replace the above with that live site.
Thats easiest solution not best one though.

That fixed it (also fixed the secondary issue that i didn't mention...text wrapping over lapped the template after adding the reflected image).

Thank you very much for your immediate assistance.

So far the reflectionjp mambot seems to be pretty easy to use, and creates a very high quality image reflection.

Thank you for this item!

If you check the sourcecode from REFLECTIONJP.PHP you see under the first function a global declaration of $mosConfig_live_site.
Remove it from the first function (only $mosConfig_live_site) and make a global decleration under the second function (botreflectionp_replace) like this:

global $mosConfig_live_site;

That solved my problem! No replacing of the $mosConfig_live_site as mentioned above; so this should be the "right" way

Have fun!
