Hi,

I am new to Mootabs so please pardon my ignorance. I have just installed Mootabs on a trial site and I am trying to pull in some RSS feeds. However, I have looked all across the net for a Feedgator download to work with my version 10.1.12 of joomla to no avail.

So I am trying to use kl_rssfeed, which I am told has a similar functionality to feedgator's, as an alternative. The problem though, is that the kl_rssfeed mambot works in the standalone content, but not in Mootabs. Mootabs just displays the guts of the code and not the feed.

Could someone please give me a working download link for Feedgator (the link for Feedgator 0.7.4C that's on this site gives me a "permission denied" error) or please tell me where I am going wrong.

You can not use mambot inside the module. I think I will have to include this feature as many people want this.

As for the feedgator thing, I think you should be able to download it. One user have posted a link on this forum somewhere for the improved version. if you search you will find it on forum somewhere.
