Is there any way that I could have the thumbnail generator look to a folder in side the defined image folder to pull the thumbnails from? This is my thought on this; I would have a folder of large images that include panoramic images and in that same folder have a folder named "th" which would have images with the same names as the images in the defined images folder but these images I would crop them and make them square so that they would turn out to be decent looking thumbnails. I'm not much of a programmer so I'm not having any luck in figuring a method out.

What I did was install Version 2.0 beta of the HS gallery, then modified the script to use the old version of the makethumb script. It keeps the thumbnails proportioned so they look excellent.

I can provide my version if you want, but I've disabled the comments system completely because it doesn't work perfectly.

Yes I would love to get the changes.
