Hi, is JP Filmstrip good for my needs? 2008/03/18 18:00 Karma: 0
Greetings, I'm putting up a website that I release articles in various categories.

What I want is to have a filmstrip styled "news" pictures scrolling for readers to see and they can then click on the image of article they would like to read from list. This list would need to be "newest 4" articles or such.

is this extension for me, or is there better one?

Hi -

Yes, you can do this with FilmStrip. You can assign links to each image in the backend, so all you would do is just enter the URL for each article you want to show. Then whenever you get a new article you want to display, just update the URL and image.

hi steve,

thank you for the reply above.

i have the same kind of questions :

i am a photographer and i am planning to have several articles on my website (portrait, wedding, services, etc.) ... is it possible to have one (different) filmstrip per page, i mean : one for wedding pictures, one for portraits, etc.

one more question : does your filmstrip occupy the full page or can one specify the size of the animation ?

many thanks in advance and sorry for my "frenglish".

david
