The jp Spotlight module is one of a series of rotating content/image modules based on the jQuery javascript library. Much of the module is pretty clear but there a few points you need to pay attention to.

1. Choose the section or category from which you wish to show content. The number of characters can be defined using a parameter in the back-end.

2. The IDs of the sources can be separated by commas if you choose multiple sections or categories. If you select one source ID, that ID will supply four items. If you choose two IDs, two items will be taken from each ID. If you choose three or four IDs then one item will be taken from each ID.

If you choose more than four IDs, the module might not work.

3. The slide interval is shown in milliseconds.

4. The curtain effect can be selected as "yes" or "no." You can also select the color of the curtain.
