Add a scrollbar

This module has a few parameters that need some detailed explanation.

Name of image folder

Write here the name of the image folder--make sure that it is located in the images/stories folder.

Speed of animation

Choose whether the images will display quickly or slowly.

Module width

The width of the entire module. The background color will stretch across this width.

Module height

The height of the module. The background color will fill this height too.

Background color of the module

Choose the module's background color.

Image width

The width of the main image in your portfolio. Keeping all the images the same dimension will keep the look of the module symmetrical and elegant.

Image height

The height of the main image. Because the text of the portfolio needs to scroll with the image, the text will take up part of this height. So if the image is 400px and the text is 30px high, then the image height must be 430px.

Thumbnail height

The height of the thumbnail.

Thumbnail image width

The width of the thumbnail.

Thumbnail position

Choose top, bottom, left or right. REMEMBER: If you change the thumbnail style from vertical to horizontal, you'll have to tweak the other parameters, such as module height and width. In general, horizontal thumbnail strips work out better than vertical ones.

 Initiation

Choose whether the slides will change with clicking or mouseover.

If you're using text or other HTML, too, it needs to be written in a file and uploaded it to the mod_portfoliojp in the modules folder of your Joomla installation. Make sure the file has the same name as the image it describes. So the text file that accompanies an image called "jTemplate.jpg" would have the name "jTemplate.html." Any text in this file would be shown with the jTemplate.jpg image.

A sample html text file is already located in your mod_portfoliojp folder after installation. You can copy it and replace the text with your own content. Remember, you can write any html text in this file. You can even create CSS classes in your portfolio.css file to style the text.
