The back-end configuration of this component is very easy with only a few settings that need defining.

How to use it? 

First install the component as you would any Joomla component.

Once the component has been installed, open the back-end of the jp FeedMe and go to the configuration page.

Configuration:

Section ID of Feedgator: If you are using Feedgator for importing News Feeds into Joomla then you must have a dedicated section for all the categories for importing Feeds. Find the ID for this section and enter the ID value in this parameter. For example, if the section ID is 5, place "5" in this parameter.

Frequency of Feed Update: This parameter sets the frequency in seconds with which jp FeedMe queries the database for new content/feeds. Even if you are not using feeds, then you must write a value here. So if you write "300", then the jp FeedMe will query the database every 300 seconds .

CSS style: This option only defines the color of the box in the right column on the front end and nothing else in the CSS. There are many color options to choose from.

Other section IDs: Insert the IDs of sections of content in your Joomla site (other than the Feedgator section) and they will be treated in the same way as Feedgator -- although with a number of small, unimportant differences. For example, if you had a section named 'Tutorials' with a section ID of 7 and another section called 'updates' with a section ID of 8,  in this parameter you would write these section IDs separated by a comma: (7,8). The content categories from these two sections will be shown in the left column and their content item titles in the middle column.

Teaser Characters: This setting lets you define the number of characters shown in the right-hand column when the user clicks on the content item title in the middle column.

Language: As of version 3.1, only English is supported.
