Highslide JS Bridge

Since releasing this mambot, js Bridge has gone through a number of changes. Here's what you need to know:

1. Start by downloading the latest version of the mambot from the freeware download section. (At the time of writing, the latest version is 1.7). If you want to include the comment feature in the mambot you must also download the hsbridgeJP component.

2. Open your template's index.php file. Just below the body tag (</body>) in the index.php file, add the following line:

<div id="highslide-container"></div>

 3. In the back-end of your Joomla website, install the mambot and also the hsbridgeJP component if you plan to use the comment feature.

4. Once installed, click the mambot to reach its back-end configuration page. Make any changes you want and publish the mambot. Again, do make sure you have the hsbridgeJP component already installed if you plan to use the comment feature.

5. Now check the syntax that you'll need to use for the mambot. You can learn about this in more detail in the back-end page of the mambot, but the basics are:

To create a gallery, the syntax looks like this:

(hsjp gallery|folder_name)

To display only a single image, the syntax should be like this:

(hsjp image|some_folder_in stories_folder/some_image.jpg)

Of course, you have to use curly parentheses {} instead of round parentheses () as I used above. If I had used them in the examples, the mambot would have been executed.
